Privacy Policy
Effective September 27, 2026
This policy explains how TrendPlay handles information when you browse videos, create an account, connect a YouTube channel, or interact with other creators. It also explains your choices and how to reach us.
YouTube Data API
TrendPlay uses the YouTube Data API to display publicly available video content and the official YouTube embedded player for playback. Use of YouTube features is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
You can revoke the app's access to your Google account data at any time through the Google Security Settings page.
1. Information we collect
- Account and profile: email address, username, display name, and profile details you choose to provide, such as an avatar, banner, biography, and social links.
- Content and interactions: submitted YouTube links and video metadata, channel connections, subscriptions, likes, follows, comments, reports, and notification preferences where you use those features.
- Technical information: information needed to operate and secure the site, such as session data and basic request information. Region selection may be used to show relevant trending content.
2. How we use your information
We use information to provide sign-in and profiles, display content and recommendations, remember preferences and watch activity, enable subscriptions and creator tools, respond to reports and support requests, and protect the service against abuse. Profile details and public interactions may be visible to other users. We do not sell your account information.
3. YouTube, advertising, and other services
Videos are hosted by YouTube, not TrendPlay. When you play an embedded video, YouTube may receive device and usage information and use cookies according to Google's policies. If you connect your YouTube account, we use the authorized connection to access the YouTube features you enable; you can revoke that access through Google Security Settings above. The site may show house promotions or Google AdSense ads when configured. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads under their own policies; review Google's advertising information for details and controls.
4. Cookies, local storage, and security
TrendPlay uses browser storage to keep you signed in and remember settings, search or watch history, and playback preferences. You can clear local browser data through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset preferences. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards for account data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We do not host or store video media files.
5. Your choices and deletion
You can update profile details and some preferences in Settings, disconnect linked services, and request deletion of your account. Our account deletion page describes what is removed and what limited records may be retained. If you cannot sign in, email us from the address associated with your account. You may also contact us with questions about your information or correction requests.
6. Retention and changes
We keep information while it is needed to provide the service and process requests. Account deletion removes associated account data as described on the deletion page; limited anonymized analytics and reports needed for compliance may remain. We may revise this policy when our practices change and will update the effective date above.
7. Contact us
For privacy questions or requests, visit Contact Us or email abdalla.khaled92@gmail.com.
8. No affiliation with YouTube or Google
TrendPlay is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to YouTube, Google LLC, or any of their subsidiaries. "YouTube" and the YouTube logo are trademarks of Google LLC. All videos are played through the official YouTube embedded player and remain hosted on YouTube; we do not host, download, or re-upload any video content.
